Intellectual property and creative commons

Basically copyrights has been made when copying was involving big factories with enormous means.  A copyright dispute was then a fight between major players in the big league.  Its reflected in the current law.  They are complex and ofter are contradictory.

Creative Commons are based on a simpler idea : Will it offend people?  You must respect the license and give credit to the author of the work you used or modified but you can do what you want with it.  You cease to exercise some of your rights as producer of the work but you try to keep some advantages.  The advantages may differs on the kind of work and license.
