Day 3 – aftermath

We have gone to some good panels today.  Here is the list:

And more parties.  The parties had closed when no more alcohol was available in the party rooms (around 3h00).  It was so crowded that we needed to wait 45 minutes for an elevator going up to the 28 floor.  The Anticipation staff were trying to interest people to go on the 5 floor to eat some food to leave place for more people on the 28 floor.  It was a great party but we are missing some activities this morning.  We need to recover.  Also we are now official supporter of the Texas 2013 Worldcon.  We had a great time talking to people.  There is some pictures of the line waiting at the elevator in the gallery below.

We had the occasion to talk with the staff of a restaurant in the Palais.  They are very surprised about the people at the convention.  Worldcon is not a standard convention by any means!  It look more like a family party :  a 4000 family.

If you want an interesting autograph session with some authors.  Go buy 4 brand new books and ask them to sign them.  They will be very happy.  Old books are fine but they are only useful to collectors they do not pay the rent.  I had a brand new book in one case and do not regret it.
